This unique learning center was built to provide classrooms and childcare facilities to low income families.  The building is constructed with two-story steel frames, insulated plywood sandwich roof panels and panoramic clearstory glass.  The center provides learning facilities for both pre-school children and adults.  The 14,000 square foot facility in North Portland is adjacent to senior and low-income housing.  It has 6 individual classrooms on the lower level for pre-school children and an adult computer-learning center on the upper floor.
